"At the dawn of the new millennium, European countries were slowly emerging from the blackness and ignorance of the dark ages. The keeper of the holy word was the catholic church, with its strongest believer, the holy pope. To preserve the purity of the faith and the unquestioned authority of the pope, the church began to install a new weapon, to protect the holy church, and to suppress any free thinking - the inquisition. For over half a millenium, innocent lives were taken in the name of God, thousands were punished and tortured to death.

Right in the middle of these unfortunate times, a spiritual women with a strong belief in God, who gave her the rare gift of the second sight, fell in love with a chosen one, a cleric of the catholic church, an apprentice for the custodianship of true belief in the word of the pope. While in the beginning, the young man responded to her heartly feelings, his ongoing apprenticeship of the catholicism led him to ignore his feelings, and to fulfill what he was ought to be – an inquisitor.

This is the story of an unfulfilled love under the sign of the cross: In Signo Crucis."
